William David "Bill" Floyd

William David “Bill” Floyd, 89, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee departed this life on Sunday, August, 6, 2023 at his home.  He was born on July 11, 1934 to Claude and Grace Pryor Floyd in Shelby County, Tennessee.  He was of the First United Pentecostal Faith and served his country with honor in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Linda Hall Floyd, his parents: Claude Floyd and Grace Wilson, and one brother: Robert McGregor.

Bill is survived by his daughter: Lisa Brooks (Stan) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, three grandchildren: Chris Brooks, Brandi Parrish and Paul David Brooks (Karrington), seven great-grandchildren, sister-in-law: Alison McGregor and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas

Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery, Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Brother Oliver Irwin will be officiating.
