Vernon Lee

It is with great sadness that the family of Vernon Lee shares that he passed away on February 13, 2021 at his home in Dyess.

Vernon was 65 and was born on June 23, 1955.  He was a retired farmer and lived in the Dyess area his entire life.  We guess he loved that gumbo dirt.

Vernon is survived by his wife: Susan Lee of Dyess, one son: Jake Lee (Jessie) of West Memphis, one step daughter: Dana Allwhite.  He was “Poppy” to his grandchildren that he adored: Braden Mauppins, Suzy Lee and Anderson Lee all of West Memphis, one brother: Richard Lee (Annette) of Lepanto, three sisters: Brenda Nichols of Manila, Reba Smith of Dyess and Vickie Couch (Dewayne) of Monette, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Dean and Lucille Lee.

Due to the weather and COVID-19 there is not a funeral planned at this time.  When the weather clears, we plan to have a Memorial and will share at that time.  We want to hear your special memories with Vernon.  We ask that you write them down and mail to Jake Lee 600 Roselawn West Memphis, AR 72301.
