Thomas Green Jr.

Thomas Joe “Joey” Green Jr., 45, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, August 13, 2021, at his home.  He was born on June 4, 1976, to Thomas Joe Green Sr. and Terry Morrow O’Dell.  He was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to spring river and arrowhead hunting.

He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers: Troy Green and James “Jimmie” Green.

Joey is survived by his wife: Amy Waldrep of the home, his mother: Terry O’Dell of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one son: Thomas Joe “Joey Green III of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one daughter: Katelyn Matthews of Wynne, Arkansas, three sisters: Carla Counce of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Alicia Hall of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Bridgette “Dee Dee” Spears of Marked Tree, Arkansas, his grandmothers: Gloria Green of Cherry Valley, Arkansas and Frances Norwood of Heafer, Arkansas, six nephews: Troy, Dalton, Jordan, Jesse, Hunter and Ayden, four nieces: Carly, Jamie, Riley and Ally and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Parkin Cemetery, Parkin, Arkansas on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.

The CDC recommends that you wear a mask and social distance.
