Shelia Lee Crowson-Hubbard

Shelia Lee Crowson-Hubbard, 69, of Fontana, CA, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Shelia was born on Monday, August 2, 1954, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to William "Dude" Crowson and Goldie Lee Crowson, née Lunsford. In the mid-1960s, Shelia moved to California, where she graduated from Bell Gardens High School and completed nursing school from Cal State LA. Shelia worked as a prenatal nurse until a back injury forced her to pivot to a career in sales for Alloy Tool Steel. Shelia returned to the healthcare field after 25+ years and completed the continuing education courses to renew her RN license. Until her death, Shelia enjoyed a career as a geriatric nurse, helping seniors maintain their quality of life.

Shelia was known for being hardworking, a straight shooter who would always help her friends and family in need. Shelia was known to be generous with her time, food, and money. She was a die-hard Las Vegas Raiders fan and was known to put a "Mean Scald" on her fried catfish.

Shelia is survived by her daughter Kimberlee J. Adams, née Crowson, 51 (Scott Adams) of Mentone, CA; son Esco D. Hubbard, 45 (Molly Hubbard) of Tukwila, WA; grandsons Stevan L. Alberto, 33, of Fontana, CA, and Esco "Quincy" Hubbard, 3, of Tukwila, WA; granddaughters Stephanie A. Kibbe, 23, of Campobello, SC, and Sydney J. Hubbard, 3, of Tukwila, WA; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Shelia was preceded in death by her father: William "Dude" Crowson; mother: Goldie Lee Crowson, née Lunsford; husband: Esco C. Hubbard; granddaughter: Sarah LeAnn Kibbe; brothers: Arnold Jason "AJ" Crowson and Willard Crowson; and sisters: Margaret Shelton, née Crowson, and Helen Goucher, née Crowson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2024, at 2:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:00p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

The family will not be hosting a funeral reception but will gather for a dinner that will be decided on Tuesday.
