Ronnie Dale Simmons, Sr.

Ronnie Dale Simmons, Sr., 67, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on August 20, 1955, to John and Bernice Ray Brewer Simmons in Harrisburg, Arkansas.  Ronnie was of the Church of God faith. He loved life, people, riding his 4-wheeler, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and took pride in his garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of thirty-one years: Carnel Roberts Simmons, of the home, one son: Ronnie Simmons, Jr (Amber) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, three daughters: Shonda Barrios (Gomez) of Payneway, Arkansas, Terrie Barrier (Don) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, and Tara Garrett (Mike) of Lepanto, Arkansas, one brother: Bobby Simmons (Brandi) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one sister: Barbara Dexter (Rob) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and his fur baby: Mr. Dillon.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 3, 2023, at 2:00 P.m. and visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in

Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Interment will follow funeral service in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Brother Patrick Tucker will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
