Robert Nichols

Robert Dee “Bob” Nichols, 85, of Jackson, Tennessee departed this life on Friday, May 14, 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was born on March 17, 1936 to Delmer Doss and Mamie Coats Nichols.  Bob was owner of Bob Nichols Construction Company, served his country in the United States Coast Guard and was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years: Mary Ruth Crum Nichols of the home, two sons: Bobby Wayne Nichols of Jackson, Tennessee and Billy Nichols (Dawn) of Jackson, Tennessee, one daughter: Deedra Sumler of Jackson, Tennessee, one step-son: Steven Cooper of Jackson, Tennessee, two sisters: Arlene Felmey of Wilmington, Delaware and JoAnne Bailey of Jackson, Tennessee, three grandchildren: Christi Dinkins, Rachael Nichols and Joshua Nichols, the mother of his children: Clemmie Williams Nichols of Jackson, Tennessee and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held from 12:30p.m. until service time.

Interment will be private.
