Readie F. Oldman Brooks, 94, of Lake City, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, February 09, 2017 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on May 9, 1922 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Frank and Delia Esther Thorne Smith.
Mrs. Brooks is preceded in death by her husband: JC Brooks, parents, 2 Sons: John Oldman and Bobby Oldman, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her son: Larry Oldman of Yarnell Arizona, 5 daughters: Rita Lancaster of Lake City, Arkansas, Lynda Lewis (Bob) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mae Elliot of Lathrop, Missouri, Marie Dunlap (Dale) of Lepanto, Arkansas and Billie Czech (Pete) of Leesburg, Florida, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00pm at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree in charge of arrangements.
