Ray Grissom

Ray Gean Grissom, 92, of Payneway, Arkansas departed this life on December 16, 2017 in Harrisburg.  She was born on February 4, 1925 to Clarence and Bama Mae Doyle Hartsell.  Mrs. Grissom was a member of the Corners Chapel Baptist Church, loved being around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to church and serving the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Ivy Lee “Lefty” Grissom, parents, daughter: Barbara Gean Grissom and sister: Imogene Dewitt.

Mrs. Grissom is survived by two sons: Larry Grissom (Evelyn) of Harrisburg and Dewey Grissom (Terrie) of Tyronza, sister: Ruby Guin Malone of West Memphis, four grandchildren: James (Dorothy) Grissom, Genia (Joe) Roach, Courtney (Kacey) Harris and Matt Cook and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree.
