Peggy Humphries

August 6, 1946 — December 1, 2020

Peggy Lou Humphries, 74, of Parkin, Arkansas departed this life on December 1, 2020 at Cross Ridge Hospital in Wynne, Arkansas.  She was born on August 6, 1946 to Eldred and Virginia Simmons Meek.

She was a member of Gladden Baptist Church and loved to paint, sew and talk; she was a talker.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: DeShay Humphries and one brother: Bennett Ray Windham.

She is survived by her son: Brandon Humphries of Parkin, Arkansas, one sister: Mary Watson (Charles) of Parkin, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Kara Shay Kesler and Kayla Humphries, one great grandchild: Shaelynn Kesler all of Booneville, Mississippi and one nephew: Jeff Windham (Beverly) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

Graveside service will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing, mask and other face coverings are required at all times.  You must provide your own mask or face covering.  Everyone attending will be required to sign the Arkansas Department of Health contact tracing sheet.  Thank you for your help to maintain safety while offering condolences to the family.
