Peggy Dee Birdno Drummond, 72, of Caraway, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born on September 11, 1950, to Raymond and Gladys Smith Birdno. Peggy attended New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak, Arkansas. She was the DJ at the VFW for several years, ran a daycare at her home, and loved to sing and spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Alton Drummond, her parents and one sister: Patsy Huskey.
Peggy is survived by her fiancé: Shelby Riley of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one daughter: Dee Dee Drummond Gray of Caraway, Arkansas, one brother: Ray Birdno and Donna of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one sister: Carolyn Prince of Caraway, Arkansas, one brother in law: Buck Huskey of Rivervale, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Raven South of Caraway, Arkansas and Dee Jona Brown and Josh of Lake City, Arkansas, three great grandchildren: Everlee Helms, Brynn Thompson and Wesley Thompson, two best friends: Kathy Steward and Kim Diffee and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 11,2023 at 2:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
