Paul Bartly Howard, 73, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, February 24, 2017. He was born on December 27, 1943 to Gaines Glenn and Addie Viola (White) Howard.
Paul worked as a Master Carpenter and of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired Volunteer Lepanto Fireman for 20 years, former Volunteer Police Officer for Lepanto and Poinsett County, He loved to hunt, fish and frog gigging. Paul was a volunteer coach for his daughter's peewee baseball team, played Tackle for Trumann High School and a 50 year Mason of the Marked Tree Lodge. He was "true blue" and was a proud Papaw who loved spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Glenn and W.L. Howard, sister: Barbara Sue Vaughn.
Paul is survived by his wife of 49 years: Elaine Howard of Lepanto, Ar., daughter: Paula Stiles (Nathan Lindley) of Joiner, Ar. brother: Billy Howard of Marked Tree, Ar., 2 Grandchildren: Heather May and Beth Ammons, 5 Great Grandchildren: Aden Foster, Rylee Foster, Brian Foster, Jr., Maddison Ammons and Landon Ammons.
