Norma Hendrix

Norma Jean Shinabery Hendrix, 92, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, departed this life, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Hendersonville, Tennessee.  She was born on February 6, 1928 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Elmer and Emma Sowder Shinabery.

She was a member of Church of Christ in Lepanto and Marked Tree.  She retired from Bank of Marked Tree.  Norma enjoyed flowers, books cooking, music, dancing, and sports; she was a Cardinal fan.  She loved to work in her daughter’s restaurant, especially on music night.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband: Eschal “Brick” Hendrix, her parents, one son: Terry Hendrix, one brother: E.L. Shinabery, Jr. and four sisters: Billie, Thelma, Joyce, and Charlene.

She is survived by her daughter: Charlotte Vallar (Stephen) of Hendersonville, Tennessee, two grandsons: Logan Hendrix and Riley Vallar and two great grandsons: Jensen Hendrix and Nash Vallar.

Graveside service will be held Monday, November 2, 2020 at 10:30 am at Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree Arkansas.
