Nannie F Simmons

Nannie F. Simmons, 83, departed this life on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at her home.  She was born on November 9, 1939 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, to Bud and Opal Hudson Fisher.  She was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.  Nannie enjoyed painting pictures, bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Dana Crowe, two sisters: Hazel McCanless and Geneva Robertson, and one great grandchild: Ellie Jane Orr.

Nannie is survived by her husband: Jimmy Simmons of the home, one daughter: Marla Blake (Leon) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Ashley Orr (Matt), Danielle Blake and Michaela Starkey (Tyler) and five great grandchildren: Riley, Elliette, Aubrie, Samuel and Elijah.

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Interment will follow service in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Brother Mark Constant will officiate the services.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
