Modine Delancey

Modine “Mama Dean” Delancey, 102, of Osceola, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, March 26, 2018.  She was born on August 15, 1915 to Arthur and Vera Carwile Seals.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Osceola.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: Homer Delancey, parents, two daughters: Shirley Bridges and Carolyn Delancey Lynch, four brothers, one sister, and one great granddaughter: Alexis Atwill.

Mama Dean is survived by her son: Charles “Bud” Delancey (Sherry) of Osceola, seven grandchildren: Harvey Bridges, Garry Bridges (Linda), Beth Howard (Tony), Cindy Holt (Gary), Greg Delancey (Lesa), Lyn McCarty (John) and Amanda Atwill (Richard), 13 great grandchildren: Samantha, Michael, Kristin, Lindsey, Drew, Kara (Lulu), Evan (Lauren), Mary Carolyn, Hudson, Lee (Abbey), Abby, Hannah Beth and Cody and 2 great great grandchildren: Eli and Aaliyah.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:30 at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Arkansas.
