Mildred Viola Johnson Stokes Allison

Mildred Viola Johnson Stokes Allison, 97, of Keiser, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Monette.   She was born on December 18, 1926, in West Ridge, Arkansas to James E. and Elizabeth Mitchell Johnson.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Keiser First Baptist church with her daughter.  Mildred enjoyed visiting with friends, crocheting, embroidery, puzzles and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children: Marvin Stokes, second husband: T.H. Allison, parents, two sons: Jerry Earl Stokes and Gary Elliott Stokes, two sisters: Frankie Faircloth and Lucy Mae Skinner and one grandchild.

Mildred is survived by two sons: James Marvin Stokes and Elois of Etowah and Terry Alton Stokes of Heber Springs, two daughters: Linda Kirk and Bobby of Etowah and Barbara Williams of Heber Springs, eighteen grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 11:00a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Garden Point Cemetery.
