Michael Allen

Michael Dewey Allen, 70, of Marked Tree, departed this life on January 18, 2020 in Jonesboro, AR.  He was born on September 28, 1949 to Herbert and Linda Kay Capooth Allen.   He was of the Baptist faith and graduated from Marked Tree High School in 1968. He started his own Survey Business after graduating from Florida Electronic Institute and ITT Electronic Institute in Louisville, KY.

He is preceded in death by his father: Herbert Allen and his loving mother: Linda Kay Allen.

Michael is survived by his 2 brothers: Dr. Robert Brock Allen (Jennifer) of Hartford, WI. and Jeffery Louis Allen (Cheryl) of Senecaville, OH., 1 sister: Tori Barber (Michael) of Jonesboro, AR., Aunt: Loretta Moore of Marked Tree, AR., 2 nephews: Herbert Josh and Jackson Allen and 2 nieces: Chaney Staggs and Krystal Fankhauser, 3 step-daughters: Beverly Syvlia, Carrie Branch and Kimberly Robinson all of Jonesboro, AR.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday January 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, AR.
