Melvin Brian "M.B." Hutcheson

Melvin Brian “M.B.” Hutcheson, 85, of Newark, Arkansas formerly of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on June 11, 2024 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.  He was born on June 2, 1939 in Dyess, Arkansas to Melvin and Stella Webster Hutcheson.  He was a small business owner and retired from General Motors.  He served his country as a Merchant Marine.  

He is preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Jean King Hutcheson, his parents, three brothers: John, Pete and Eulis Hutcheson and one sister: Mary Kellepourey.

M.B. is survived by two sons: Camron Hutcheson (Brianna) of Ashflat, Arkansas and Tristan Hutcheson of West Memphis, Arkansas, three daughters: Lisa Hutcheson of Newark, Arkansas, Cynthia Hunter (Andy) of Newark, Arkansas and Eden Hutcheson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one brother: Curtis Hutcheson of Pontiac, Michigan, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Potter Memorial Cemetery, Lepanto, Arkansas and visitation will be held June 17, 2024 from 1:45 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.
