Melissa Jane Pitts

Melissa Jane Pitts, 49, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home.  She was born on May 4, 1974 to Kathleen Daugherty in Batesville, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her: Selmar and Marlene Daugherty, her mother: Kathleen Daugherty Bonner and one son: Jerry Lee King.

Melissa is survived by her wife: Helen Pitts of Marked Tree, two sons: TJ Smith of Courtland, Mississippi and Clay Tutor and Skylar of Como, Mississippi, one daughter: Ashley Tutor of Batesville, Mississippi, one brother: Daniel Bonner of Courtland, Mississippi, one sister: Janice Morgan of Como, Mississippi, step-father: James Bonner of Courtland, Mississippi, eight grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

There will not be any services.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
