Mary Carolyn Cantrell

Mary Carolyn Cantrell, 71, of Payneway, Arkansas departed this life on April 5, 2021 at The Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on January 24, 1950 to Harold and Norma Wheeler Cantrell.

Carolyn was a member of Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway, Arkansas where she served as piano player for many years.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, gardening, catering meals and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Brinda Swan.

Carolyn is survived by her son: Jason Cantrell and wife Chelsey of Paragould, Arkansas, five brothers: James Cantrell of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Bob Cantrell of Payneway, Arkansas, Charles Cantrell of Payneway, Arkansas, Dennis Cantrell of Trumann, Arkansas and Doyle Cantrell of Indianola, Mississippi, one sister: Dianne Grant of Rogers, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Jacobb Cantrell of Payneway, Arkansas and Chloe Cantrell of Trumann, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. and visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Services will be held at Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway, Arkansas.

Interment will follow funeral service at Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
