Mary D. Miller Spears

Mary D. Miller Spears, 83, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, June 17, 2022 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born on December 31, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee to Alfred R. ad Mary Phillips Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two infant children.

Mary is survived by one son: Carl Spears Jr. of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, two daughters: Carla Smith and Keith of Southaven, Mississippi and Sherry D. Matos of Marked Tree, Arkansas, father of her children: Carl Spears Sr. of Crestview, Florida, three brothers: Al Miller and Alice of Forrest City, Arkansas, Garland Miller of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Earnest Miller and Sandra of Marietta, Georgia, eight grandchildren: Angie, Alicia, Dee Dee, Jeffrey, Sabrina, Joseph, Francisco “Rey” and Carlos, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
