Mary Buck

Mary Catherine Ronson Buck, 77 of Marion, Arkansas formerly of Hughes, Arkansas departed this life April 24, 2021 at Baptist Crittenden Hospital in West Memphis, Arkansas.  She was born July 24, 1943 in Savannah, Georgia to Garnett Joseph and Clarese Merier Ronson.

Ms. Buck was member of First Baptist Church in Hughes, Arkansas.  She and her late husband, Alvy Don Buck were owners of Family AG Air Service where she worked as bookkeeper for 30 years.  Her niece, Catherine carries her namesake. She loved her homeplace in Hughes where she planted shrubs and flowers that she moved from her mother’s homeplace in Greensboro and she also loved her Pine, Pecan and Peach tress planted throughout her yard. She loved her dogs: Tubby and Tiny and her turtle: Timmy.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Alvy Don Buck, her parents and one sister: Evelyn Nell King and close friend: Sarah Richards.

Ms. Buck is survived by one brother: John Lamar Ronson of Corvallis, Montana,  one niece: Catherine King Roberts of Munford, Tennessee, one nephew: John Melvin Roberts, Jr. of Marion, Arkansas, one step-son: Eddie Don Buck (Beth) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, two step-daughters: Anita Buck Smith (Steve) of Kennett, Missouri and Tina Buck Jones of Hornersville, Missouri, seven step-grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren,

Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.

Jack Lofton will officiate the service.
