Martha Carter

Martha Ellen Carter, 80, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, August 13, 2021, at her home.  She was born on December 27, 1940, to William and Pernie Letson Vick.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: William Vick, Willard Vick and Roger Vick and one sister: Tootsie Gibbs.

Martha is survived by her husband of 59 years: Jerry Carter of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two sons: Jerry Wayne Carter of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Linc Carter (Kim) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two granddaughters: Macy Carter and Peyton Guenrich (Luke), one great granddaughter: Palmer Tate Guenrich, three brothers: James Vick of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Odie Vick of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Rayburn Vick (Dene) of Trumann, Arkansas, four sisters: Lois Way of Moulton, Alabama, Faye Turner of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Angie Fields (Billy) of Proctor, Arkansas and Sandy Hydrick of Lepanto, Arkansas, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
