Marie Bowman

Marie Bowman, 75, of Garden Point, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, June 19, 2017 at her home. She was born on February 25, 1942 to Arthur and Ottie Belk Adams. She was the secretary for her husband's flying service and a former grocery store owner. Mrs. Bowman enjoyed hunting, fishing, shopping and just simply being on the go.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother: Harold Adams and sister: Imma Morgan.
Marie is survived by her husband of 59 years: Winston Bowman Sr., of the home, son: Winston Bowman JR., two daughters: Lisa Gamble (Rolen) of Black Oak, Arkansas and Susie Bowman of Lepanto, Arkansas, two brothers: Edward Adams of Eads, Tennessee and Billy Adams of Collierville, Tennessee, four sisters: JoAnn Belince of Sardis, Mississippi, Vernice Halter of Leachville, Arkansas, Margaret "Tutti" Baker of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Edith Henderson of Keiser, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Johnna Gamble, Brandi Kemp and Candi Bradley and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30am at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
