Lola Weir

Jean Weir, 90, of Kennett, Missouri departed this life Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born April 12, 1927 to Granville Rufus and Nellie Mae Thompson Bishop.  She was of the Baptist faith, a waitress and loved taking care of her nieces and nephews.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband: Millard Owen “Bud” Weir and her parents.

Mrs. Weir is survived by her sisters: Wanda Culp and Flora Reid of Memphis, Patsy Vance of Hornersville, Missouri, nieces:  Melissa Hudson of Memphis and RaDonna Fox of Arbyrd, Missouri, nephews: Shane Brauer of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Shawn Brauer of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Matt Culp of Memphis and Justin King of Hornersville.

Services will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree Ar.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until service time.

Interment will be private.
