Leland Mae Carroll Batchelder

Leland Mae Carroll Batchelder, 76, of Tyronza, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on December 17, 1943 in Etowah, Arkansas to Curtis and Luna Jane Simpson Hutcheson.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and worked as a teacher.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Dal E. Batchelder, her parents, two sons: Alan Carroll and John Shannon, one brother: Larry Hutcheson and one sister: Cindy Hutcheson.

Mae is survived by two sons: Mark and Tony Carroll both of Tyronza, Arkansas, one brother: Joe Lee Church of Washington, one sister: Dorothy Rowland of Martinsville, Indiana, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Tyronza Cemetery and visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Brother Patrick Tucker and Brother Rick Kimery will officiate the service.
