Larry Holt

Larry Gene Holt, 71, of Whitton, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at St. Benards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Larry worked in maintenance for the St. Francis Levee District.  He was born on October 24, 1948 in Marianna, Arkansas to Clarence Raymond and Eileen Jane Cavitt Holt.

He was a member of Lepanto First United Pentecostal Church.  He enjoyed duck hunting, crappie fishing, loved his home and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Johnny Holt and Wesley Mitchell “Mitch” Holt, 2 sisters: Lynn Atchley and Phyllis Blagg.

Larry is survived by his companion: Peggy Murphy of the home, 1 son: Jason Holt of Lepanto, Arkansas, 2 stepsons: John Murphy (Jennifer) of Bassett, Arkansas and Shane Murphy (Tasha) of Dyess, Arkansas, 1 stepdaughter: Heidi Murphy (Jeremy Smith) of Hornbeak, Tennessee, 2 brothers: Thomas Holt (Elaine) of Chelford, Arkansas, Randy Holt (Rhonda) of Lepanto, Arkansas, 3 sisters: Sissy Blagg (Ricky) of Dyess, Arkansas, Bidy Eaton (Rickey) of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Lisa Holt of Marked Tree, Arkansas, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Lepanto First United Pentecostal Church.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Lepanto First United Pentecostal Church.

Officiating: Brother Chris Oakes and Brother Jonathan Neeley

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
