Joyce Gatlin

Joyce Ann Gatlin, 71, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on July 21, 1948 to Earnest and Estylee Peel Pilgrim. She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed playing cards with her sisters, watching games shows, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Joyce served several years as Program Aid at Steven’s Square.  She helped deliver meals to the homebound and always helped with the Earlybird Breakfast serving her famous homemade gravy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Shirley Rogers, and 2 brothers: Mack Wayne Pilgrim and V.L. Pilgrim.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 55 years: Mack Gatlin of the home, 2 sons: Robby Lee Gatlin (Carole) of Paragould, Arkansas, Tony Dale Gatlin (Ina) of Wynne, Arkansas, 1 daughter: Amanda Marie Gatlin of Lepanto, Arkansas, 2 sisters: Betty Jones and Paulette Stovall of Lepanto, Arkansas, 2 grandchildren: Abagail Gatlin and Caden Brown.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at

Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.   Visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
