Johnny B. Meeks

Johnny B. Meeks, 91, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on December 9, 2023, at Three Rivers Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Marked Tree. He was born on July 30, 1932, to Walter Almous and Mary Lee Glissen Meeks in Corinth Mississippi.  Johnny was of the Baptist faith, He retired after forty-four years with E. Ritter Seed Company.

He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty years: Jean Glidewell Meeks, his parents and one great grandchild.

Johnny is survived by three sons: Jimmy Meeks of Lepanto, Arkansas, Jerry Meeks (Kelly) of The Villages, Florida, and Paul Meeks (Kim) of Lewisburg, Mississippi, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m.

Interment will follow funeral service in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Brother Patrick Tucker will officiate the service.
