John Shinall

John Franklin Shinall, 67, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life Friday, February 12, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on February 14, 1953 in Lepanto to Rueben Greene “Buster” and Jimmie Faye Jones Shinall.

John was a follower of Jesus Christ.  It has been his honor for 35 years to build houses and serve the Lepanto community.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Glenn Shinall, one sister: Jimmie Hester Shinall and one granddaughter: Allison Shinall.

John is survived by his wife of 48 years: Brenda Shinall of the home, one Son: Jeremy Shinall (Torie) of Caraway, Arkansas, one daughter: Misty Teague of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two sisters: Peggy Sue Foshee (Ray) of Collierville, Tennessee, and Anna Buck (Doyle) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Bailee Gatlin, John Marcus Shinall and Hannah Shinall, and six great-grandchildren.
