John George Laden

John George Laden, 84, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, February 1, 2024 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on October 7, 1939 in Etowah, Arkansas to Luther William and Pearl Rose Marie Harvey Laden.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dancing, sketching, running around and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Norma Fay Alsup Laden, parents, one son: John Michael Laden, one daughter: Penny Marie Ford, five brothers: Otho Laden, Freddy Laden, William Laden, Danny Laden and Bobby Laden and three sisters: Kathy Tyler, Lillie Prince and Isolene Laden.

George is survived by two daughters: Sharon Renee Laden of Rector, Arkansas and Vikki Kay Moore (Chris) of Piggott, Arkansas, three brothers: Junior Laden of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Jimmy Laden (Cheryl) of Lepanto, Arkansas and Ricky Laden (Ramona) of Lepanto, Arkansas, two sisters: Mary Russell (Jimmy) of Etowah, Arkansas and Linda Mills of Tuscumbia, Alabama, nine grandchildren: Stanley, Jake, Kirk, Doris, Lee, Cody, Tommy, Sammy and Collin, many great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at the Revival Center Church in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:00p.m. until service time at the church.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
