JoAnn Henderson

JoAnn Henderson, 90, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, February 16, 2024, at her home.  She was born November 19, 1933, to F.R. “Buck” and Emma Lou Weaver Brewer.  JoAnn was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. As a young woman she started working with her parents at Buck’s Grocery and retired in 2003.  She enjoyed cooking, watching Hallmark movies and game shows, and taking care of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years: Billy Joe Henderson, her parents, brother: Gary Brewer and sister: Peggy Brannon.

JoAnn is survived by two daughters: Dana Terrell of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Vicki Ghant and husband Marshall of Marked Tree, Arkansas,  four grandchildren: Jimmy Joe Terrell and wife Deidra of Jonesboro, Arkansas,  Emma Hudspeth and husband Ron of Jonesboro, Arkansas,  Hannah Sills and husband Matt of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Loran Ghant of Marked Tree, Arkansas,  five great grandchildren: Luke, Jax, Jude, Boss, Braylan and one on the way: Jo Kate.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Interment will follow funeral service in Tyronza Cemetery.

Brother Chad Stoddard will officiate the services.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
