Jimmy Ray Gilbert

Jimmy Ray Gilbert, 75, of Trumann departed this life on Monday, January 6, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 26, 1949, in Marked Tree to Samuel Lemuel and Helen Frances Fraizer Gilbert. Jimmy was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Red Oak Baptist Church of the Red Oak Community. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Jimmy had many jobs, but when he found truck driving, he found his calling. He loved his family and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Sam, Johnny and Frank Gilbert and sister: Brenda Sue Gilbert.

Jimmy is survived by his wife: Linda Gilbert of the home, son: Scott Ray Gilbert of Trumann, brother: Rex Gilbert of Paragould, sister Linda Ottawell of Memphis, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree on Monday January 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.

and a visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M.

Interment will follow service in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Brother Patrick Tucker will officiate the service.
