Jerry Wayne Wallin

Jerry Wayne Wallin, 76, of Waxahachie, Texas, formerly of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, May 12, 2024.   He was born on December 28, 1947, to Paul and Dovie Turnbow Wallin.  Jerry received his bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University.  He was the owner of Wallin’s Landscape, enjoyed all sports, History and being right. Jerry loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Paul Wallin Jr, James Wallin, John Thomas Wallin, and Bill Wallin, one sister: JoAnn Modesitt.

Jerry is survived by one son: Jerry Wallin of Midlothian, Texas, one daughter: Jeannie Wallin of Waxahachie, Texas, one brother: Harold Wallin and Patsy of Marked Tree, two grandsons: Johnny Wallin and Jeremy Seals, one great grandson: Roman Soloman, the mother of his children: Judi Walker, many cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Funeral service will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, at 2:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.
