Jerry Teague

Jerry Wayne Teague, 72, of Oak Acres, departed this life on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was born on October 10, 1947 to Max and Jewell Gooden Teague.  Jerry served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, talking and going to the races.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Gary, Dennis and Ricky Teague, one sister: Linda Bennett and his dog: Taz.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 47 years: Mildred Teague of the home, one son: Jason Wayne Teague (Tammy) of Mansfield, Arkansas, one daughter: Holly Rhinehart (Donald) of Tyronza, Arkansas, four grandchildren: Emily, Nathaniel, Riley and Isaac, his dog: Jax and his bird: Boo.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Visitation will be held from 1:00p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
