Jerry Organ

Jerry Organ, 68, of Tyronza, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on July 11, 1955, in Memphis, Tennessee to James Robert and Annie Mabel McCoy Organ.

Jerry was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas. He loved his church family, and he loved the Lord very much.   Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, anything western and especially reading Louis L’Amour books.  He was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, when he was younger, he was a pretty good athlete and quick on his feet.  He was a police officer for many years, he was a K9 officer and an investigator.  He also served his community as a volunteer firefighter and a first responder.  He loved his job and helping those in need.   He loved spending time with his family and friends who will all miss him very much.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Diane Organ, parents, one daughter: Tori Pierce, two grandchildren: Trent and Warren Pierce.

Jerry is survived by two sons: Justin Organ and Kathlyna of McCrory, Arkansas and Jeremy Organ, one daughter: Amanda Lovins and Luke of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three brothers: Joe Organ of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Johnny Organ and Sherry of Wynne, Arkansas and Jimmy Organ and Judy of Barlett, Tennessee, five grandchildren: Khloe Organ of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Henry Lovins and Eli Lovins of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jake Pierce and Tawny of Wynne, Arkansas and Chris Pierce and Brooke of Parkin, Arkansas and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be held Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11:00a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
