Janice Faye Courtney Jones

Janice Faye Courtney Jones 62, of Lepanto, AR passed away October 7, 2019 at home in Baytown, Texas.

Janice was born to Sam and Imogene (Jobe) Courtney on July 18, 1957. She went to High School in Lepanto. She chopped cotton, was a seamstress and retired as head custodian at EPC School District after 20 plus years. She always loved being around her family and friends.

Janice is proceeded in death by her parents: Sam & Imogene Courtney; Sister: Rosemary Courtney Mason; Husband: Michael Jones; Brother-in-law: Dane Winningham and Nephews: Whitney Jones and Shane Blair.

Janice is survived by her daughter: Tonia (Luke) Reed; Two Grandsons: Bo and Austin; Great-Grandson: Bryson and Son: Bradley Jones, all of Baytown, Texas; Brother: John Courtney of Lepanto, Arkansas; Three Sisters: Doris Winningham of Suffolk, Virginia, Mattie (Bo) Jones of Lepanto, Arkansas and Donna (P.D.) Welch of Wilson, Arkansas.

She has gone on to her final resting place with no more pain, to be with The Lord & her loved ones on the other side. While leaving behind many loved ones, family & friends alike. She was very blessed to be so loved. We will carry on with the sweeping down here knowing that heaven will be sparkling clean when it’s our turn to arrive MOM! We love & miss you more...

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will be private.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.
