Jenetta Ray Curtner Lansdale

Jenetta Ray Curtner Lansdale, 93, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, April 18, 2022 at her home.  She was born on February 20, 1929 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Joseph Claude and Nettie Carr Curtner.  She was a retired hair dresser and a member of Calvary Chapel in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Jenetta enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing games and cards with her family and friends.  She loved her children and grandchildren and was a mother to all. She provided guidance, care and love to her siblings and everyone she came into contact with. 

She is preceded in death by her husband: John C. Lansdale, Jr., her parents, two brothers: Joseph Paul Curtner and Virgil Claude “Bucky” Curtner, and one sister: Hazel Gibson

Jenetta is survived by one son: Johnny R. Lansdale, Sr and his wife Julie of Mountain Home, Arkansas, one daughter: Debbie Kirby and her husband Alvie of Marked Tree, Arkansas, three grandsons: Johnny R. Lansdale, Jr., of Marked Tree, Arkansas, John Phillip Kirby and his wife Sarah of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Joseph Grant Kirby and his wife Kassie of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two great-grandsons: Liam and Dutch Kirby of Pocahontas, Arkansas, one brother: Boyce Curtner and his wife Susan of Olive Branch, Mississippi, two sisters: Anna Faye Curtner and Billie Kinsey both of Olive Branch, Mississippi and  additional family: Gloria Lansdale of West Memphis, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.  Interment will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas.  Pastor John Lawrence will officiate the service.
