James Holmes

James “Trey” Holmes, 56, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life April 22, 2021 at Regional One in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was born February 12, 1965 in Osceola, Arkansas to Charles and Sharon Dodson Holmes.

He was a member of Rivervale Baptist Church, Rivervale, Arkansas.  He enjoyed fishing, playing softball with his granddaughter Mollie, riding around with Randy and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Trey is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years: Carol Holmes of the home, one son: Blake Holmes (Amanda) of Rivervale, one daughter: Ashton Jewell (Nathan) of Lepanto, one brother: Scott Holmes (Toni) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and one granddaughter: Mollie Jewell.

Services will be held at Rivervale Baptist Church.  The Funeral Service will be Tuesday April 27, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. and Visitation will be held Monday April 26, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

Interment will follow funeral service at Caraway Cemetery, Caraway, Arkansas.
