James Curtis

James Edward Curtis, 63, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life April 12, 2021 in Lepanto, Arkansas. He was born in Flint, Michigan on October 4, 1957 to Ellis Mack and Jessie Beatrice Haney Curtis.

James attended The Revival Center Church in Lepanto Arkansas. He was a caregiver to his brother, Jimmy Curtis. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, especially his son and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Kenneth Curtis and three sisters: Louise Kelton, Shirley Warhurst and Infant Caroline Curtis.

James is survived by one son: Sheldon Allen Curtis (Tiffany Mae) of Florida, one brother: Jimmy Curtis of Lepanto, Arkansas, two sisters: Sue Weathers (Gary) of Lepanto, Arkansas, Brenda Craig (Larry) of Newark, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Gavin Ridge Curtis and Gage Isaiah Curtis and close friend: Cathy Curtis of Lepanto, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden Point Cemetery, Etowah, Arkansas.

Brother Daniel Nooner will officiate the service.

Arkansas Department of Health recommends, when you cannot social distance, a mask or other face covering should be worn.  Thank you for your cooperation to maintain safety while offering condolences to the family.
