Gwendolyn Bonds

Gwendolyn Bonds, 92, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, January 15, 2018.  She was born on November 18, 1925 to William Steinberger and Unice Rochelle Steinberger Dye.  She was a member of Lepanto First Baptist Church, the Cotton Wives and the Lepanto Supper Club.  Mrs. Bonds would provide art supplies for East Poinsett County Schools and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Ed Steinberger and Sammy Dye and grandson: Chase Haberstroh.

Gwendolyn is survived by her husband of 61 years: Arthur H. Bonds of the home, three sons: Paul Haberstroh (Margaret) of Walls, Mississippi, Gregory V. Bonds of Lepanto, Arkansas and Jeff Bonds of Lepanto, Arkansas, brother: Laburn Dye of Horn Lake, Mississippi, eleven grandchildren: Chris Haberstroh, Chad Haberstroh, Katie Bonds Richmond, Brooke Bonds, Sophie Bonds, Brad Glover, Emily Glover, Lauren Baker Kinder, Devin Howington, Britt White and Hunter Vanhorn and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 until service time.

Interment will be private.
