Glenda Clark Ashlock

Glenda Clark Ashlock passed away quietly at Methodist Hospital in Memphis at 12:45p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018.  She was born on November 29, 1932 to Algea and Nona Clark.  Mrs. Ashlock was a longtime accounting manager at E Ritter Seed Company in Marked Tree and upon retirement continued work at H & R Block doing income tax preparation, filing and support.  She took pride in keeping her yard and flower beds.

Mrs. Ashlock is preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Don Lovell.  What a glorious and rejoicing day for Don and Meemaw.  Also preceding Mrs. Ashlock in death: her parents, and three sisters: Jesse Wise, Marie Pavy and Layne Johnson.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 67 years: Lawrence W. Ashlock Jr., daughter: Lynn Lovell (Buddy), sister: Betty Holly, brother: Ross Clark and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2:30p.m. with Pastor Dale Noe officiating at The First Baptist Church 412 Liberty Marked Tree, Arkansas 72365.

Visitation will be held at 1:00pm until service time.

Interment will be private.

Pallbearers will be her nephews and friends: Jonathan Ashlock, Ford Ashlock, Larry Rollins, Shane Glenn, Steve Craig, LD Tarlton, Ron Brewington and Matt Wright.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to The First Baptist Church in Marked Tree.

Delancey- Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree is in charge of services.
