Glenda Boland

Glenda Jean Cockrell Boland, 66, of Turrell, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Jonesboro.  She was born on January 1, 1953 to Earl and Lou Nez Franks Cockrell.  Glenda was a member of Angels Way Baptist Church in Marion and retired owner of Precious Memories and GiGi’s Country Café.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Scott Boland, parents, one sister: Catherine Cockrell Linton and one Goddaughter: Angela Clark.

Glenda is survived by her nephew: David Dover, one step daughter: Ashley Boland, one Goddaughter: Amanda Randolph, four nieces: Abby Beck Permenter, Shelby Beck Weathers, Carrie Faulkner and Leigh Ann Short, five step grandchildren, two great Godgrandchildren: Annabelle Clark and Piper Randolph, beloved dog: Shadow and a host of other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorials sent to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
