Georgia “Faye” Nolen left this world to be with her Lord and her husband, Frank, peacefully at her home on May 12, 2018. Ms. Faye was born December 9, 1930 in Pinky, Arkansas to the late Frank and Lois Phillips of Marked Tree, Arkansas. Ms. Faye retired from Gotham (Hauerman) as a secretary and worked 20 plus years at the Marked Tree Elementary as secretary until she retired from there. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family dearly. She was a faithful Christian till the day the Lord called her home at the Liberty Street Church of Christ. She had a simple life never meeting a stranger and always willing to help anyone who needed help. She loved to fish, bake and decorating cakes for the people in Marked Tree.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers: Johnny and Bobby Phillips, one sister: Bonnie Sue Phillips. Ms. Faye is survived by her two sons: Ronald and Renee Nolen of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Donald and Norette Nolen of Harrisburg, Arkansas, two Grandchildren: Beth Nolen and B.J. Tubbs of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, Clint and Katie Nolen of Traskwood, Arkansas, two Great Grandchildren: Madison Martin of Conway Arkansas and Lily Kate of Traskwood, Arkansas, two brothers: Paul of Marked Tree and Tommy and Deloise Phillips of Pea Ridge, Arkansas.
Ms. Faye will be greatly missed and a void that will never be filled. The family would like to thank Caring Hearts and the wonderful staff that took good care of her.
Visitation will be Monday May 14, 2018 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm and Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Frank.
