Franky Frans

Franklin Terry “Franky” Frans, 56, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, December 2, 2019 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on March 20, 1963 to Byron Douglas Sr. and Lola Iva Newcomb Frans.  Franky was saved when he was 18 years old, he was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro and his home church is First Baptist Church in Marked Tree.  He worked for Entergy for 31 years, he loved taking care of others and giving advice even when he wasn’t asked.  He was an outdoorsman, he loved westerns, old trucks and woodworking, he adored his grandchildren, he took care of his family and he loved the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Franky is survived by his wife of 35 years: Vicki Lane Frans of Marked Tree, one son: James Frans (Cindy) of Jonesboro, one daughter: Kasey Dunavant (Tim) of Marked Tree, sister in law: Rhonda Boyer of Jonesboro, brother in law: Danny Lane (Peggy) of Marked Tree, three brothers: Doug Frans Jr. (Dawn) of Tyronza, Gary Frans of Los Angeles California and Joe Frans (Mary) of Cord, one sister: Cathy Frans of Jonesboro and four grandchildren: Oliver, Harper, Teddy Bear and Sam.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 5:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. at The First Baptist Church in Marked Tree.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at The First Baptist Church in Marked Tree.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey- Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
