Doris Ann (Finchum) Bryan

Doris Ann (Finchum) Bryan, 76, of Lepanto, Arkansas left this world on Thursday, July 18, 2019, while being cared for at Canon Hospice in Gulfport, Mississippi.  She was born on May 18, 1943 in Lepanto to Calvin and Martha Hatten Finchum.  She held many titles throughout her working years. Secretary/Bookkeeper, City Clerk for the town of Pawnee Rock, KS., office manager for Riverside Home Health, but the titles she loved the most were wife and mother.  Doris was a member of First Baptist Church in Lepanto, she was a Red Hatter, played Bunco and Dominoes, and loved spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her husband of 58 years: Marion O’Neal Bryan and her devoted son Stephen Phillip Bryan. Doris also leaves behind three of her five sisters: Carlene Seyller of Little Rock, Joan Bodouin of Bilouxi, Mississippi and Charlotte Pierce of Batesville, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her precious son: Benjamin Michael Bryan, her two sisters: Louise Dodson and Mary Dell Franks.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm and visitation will begin at 1:00 pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
