Debbie Carlette Vaughn

Debbie Carlette Vaughn, 66, of Dyess, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola, Arkansas.  She was born June 21, 1957 to Carl and Sue Hammock Allen in Lepanto, Arkansas.  Debbie was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church of God in Dyess, Arkansas and loved severing the Lord and singing. She loved her pastors; Brother and Sister Britt.  After twenty-two years of service, Debbie retired in 2018 from Rivercrest School District. She also worked for a short time at Dyess City Hall and was a first responder for the Dyess Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed working, teaching, being a “mom” to her school kids and co-workers, working outside, mowing, building things, and DIY projects. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father: Carl Allen, and one sister: Brenda Malone.

Debbie is survived by her three sons: Dave Allen Vaughn of Blytheville, Arkansas, Daniel Aaron Vaughn of Lepanto, Arkansas and Dustin Tyler Vaughn (Bo) of Dyess, Arkansas, four grandchildren, which she loved very much: David Andon Vaughn, Conner Clark Vaughn, Traeger Allen Vaughn, and Zayden Blaze Vaughn, her mother: Sue Allen of Dyess, Arkansas, one sister: Faye Carlock (Eddie) of West Memphis, Arkansas, her fur baby: Lucy, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.  Funeral service will be Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., and Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Interment will follow funeral service in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Brother Clifford Britt and Brother Roy Grunden will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be: Sumner Cullom, Lee Malone, George Wroten, Rodney Sparks, Jerry Malone, Tommy McCaul, Zac Peninger, Greg Delancey, Terry Menz and Jeff Rumbaugh.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.
