Darlene Harvey

 Darlene Harvey, 70, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2022, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born to F.A. and Virgie Mae Carson Harvey on January 23, 1952, in Harrisburg, Arkansas.

 Darlene was of the Baptist faith and worked at Dillard’s as a Women’s garment specialist. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies, listening to music, collecting Native American relics, and hunting for arrowheads.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Darrell Harvey and two sisters: Bonnie Carter and Pauletta Shelton and one niece: Adriane Shelton.

Darlene is survived by one son: Michael Phillip Marquis (Stephany) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, one daughter: Desha Lewis (Jonathan) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, two sisters: Sandy Chadwick (Rickie) of Horn Lake, Mississippi, and Cristi McLaughlin (Bryan) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, eight grandchildren: Dena, Christian, Macenzie, Hannah, Jacob, Bella, Macen, Vincent, and two great grandchildren: Luna and Silas.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and visitation will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Both services will be at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas. 

Interment will follow funeral service in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Brother Zach Davis will officiate the service.
