Curtis Raymond Nichols

Curtis Raymond “Doc” Nichols Sr., 91, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on March 14, 1929 to Luther Taft and Aline Massey Nichols.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Ouida Simmons Nichols, parents, one son: Gary D. Nichols, one daughter: Debra Kay Nichols, three grandchildren: Jordan Dunn, Faith Bruner and Lucas Bruner.

Curtis is survived by his son: Curtis R. Nichols Jr. (Jeanette) of Cooter, Missouri, two daughters: Vicki Hein (Emmo) of Memphis, Tennessee and Jeanette Dunn (Kirk) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, eight grandchildren: Nick Hein, Jeremy Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Justin Dunn, Scott Nichols, Andrea Evans, Sara Evans and Wesley Evans, nine great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 12:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Friday from 11:00a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
