Colby Wayne Tacker

Colby Wayne Tacker, 32, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on August 24, 1992, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Christopher Lee Tacker and Jennifer Massey. Colby loved farming, taking Brentley hunting at their deer camp, racing, riding side by sides, and spending time with his family and friends. Colby cherished every second he had with his son and loved doing all these activities with him, Brentley was his pride and joy. Colby cherished the love he had with his high school sweetheart and the support and love he had for her was unconditional, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robbie and Peggy Bankston, Raymond John Danforth and Jerry Wayne Tacker and his father-in-law: Toby Walker.

Colby is survived by his wife of eighteen years: Hope Walker Tacker of Marked Tree, , one son: Brentley Tacker of Marked Tree, parents: Jennifer and David Massey of Marked Tree and Chris and Jennifer Tacker of Southaven, Mississippi, grandmother: Linda Danforth of Olive Branch, Mississippi, three brothers: James Massey, Brandon Massey both of Marked Tree and Brayden Christopher Tacker of Southaven, Mississippi, four sisters: Sara Grace “Gracie” Tacker ( Hudson) of Southaven, Mississippi, Joy Walker of Marked Tree, Brea Thompson (Robbie) and Alexa Steele (Michael) both of Southaven, Mississippi, mother-in-law: Loretta Walker of Marked Tree, sister-in-laws: Joy Walker, Kayli Walker, Lindsey Walker, Candi Daniels, Lori Walker all of Marked Tree and Lynzi Lewis of Cabot, aunts and uncles: Jana Hatley, Wayne Bankston, Christy Wallace (Brian) and Jeffery Wayne Tacker (Shannon) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00p.m. at The First Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00p.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
