Christine Comstock

Christine Swan Comstock, 90, of Marion, AR., formerly of Marked Tree, AR., departed this life Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Marion, AR.  She was born on June 30, 1929 in Etowah, AR. to William James and Emma Lallie Cassidy Swan.  She was a member of Marked Tree Church of God and served as church secretary for 50 years.  She formerly worked as bookkeeper for Prince Furniture Company and John and Frank Drug.

Mrs. Comstock is preceded in death by her spouse of 51 years: Wilburn Ray Comstock, her parents, 1 brother: John Swan, 3 sisters: Earlene Rush, Katy Johnson, and Maxine Parnell.

Christine is survived by her daughter: Betty Spurlin (Larry) of Memphis, TN., 2 brothers: James Swan (Patricia) of Marked Tree, AR., and Jake Swan (Linda) of Memphis, TN., 2 sisters: Lorene Neiswander of Wynne, AR., and Patricia Crossen (Chester) of Colt, AR., 1 grandson: Dean Rickvalsky (Kara) of Springhill, TN., 1 great- grandson: Maddox Rickvalsky of Springhill, TN.,  2 step grandchildren:  Laura Crook (Mike) of Atoka, TN., and Tyler Spurlin (Ashley) of Arlington, TN., 4 step great-grandchildren: Kyle Crook of Memphis, TN., Madalyn Crook, of Atoka, TN., Harper Spurlin and Graham Spurlin both of Arlington, TN., 2 sister-in-laws: Charlsie Garrison of Marked Tree, AR., and Barbara Swan of West Memphis, AR.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Marked Tree Church of God.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Marked Tree Church of God.

Interment will be at Marked Tree Cemetery.
